I was doing 6:00-6:30 for a few months there last year. I fell back on 5:30 since I'm back in school now and all... two months in and I think I'm still adjusting...


I used to be part of the late night crew here, but yeah did a 180 last year and haven't looked back. I like the sun more thesedays and it's kind of funny how I get so much more done nowadays. Sleeping in is like 8-9 now haha. Weird to say I can't help but love it.

So I love waking up early, but yeah that ~5 zone is still a challenge.

I get super energized on foggy, rainy days. Hot sunny days make me sluggish and depressed.

Cannot even fathom waking up that early regularly. Granted, my midnight-8am shift is a LITTLE later than I would like, but I've always been the late-day type. When I was hired they all warned me "It'll probably be a decade or so until you have enough seniority for days" and I'm sitting here going "And this is a bad thing why?"... like I couldn't deal with waking up ~645 every morning to get to work by ~745

I love the fog and the rain and it makes me smile, but I definitely don't feel depressed when it's sunny. Hot, yes. Sluggish, maybe (especially if I'm on a cruise or something and just lay out in the sun for a day)... but I do enjoy it from time to time.

man. This sucks. I ate chinese food today and when I finally got to the cookie, there was no fortune inside. Damn. At least the cookie was good.
