::EDIT:: ^ I skimmed this.
This. A Gameshark code allows you to walk through doors (noclip) and explore the rest of the level. You can even drop outside of windows and combat each other outside in a narrow alley.
Sound about right?
I didn't play it in 2 player. I played it in single player as a mission. I clearly remember getting to the ramp that goes out of the basement to the small room with the secret doors and shooting the guards in there and then more came through the doors. The archives does not have ramps it has stairs.
With all due respect, I think you're smoking crack. The only possible level that matches your description is the Library map in multi, which is the Stack and Basement combined. It's clear that you and your brother had a beta dev cart from Rare.

I don't do drugs. Yes that is the level I'm talking about which is normally only in multi but I played it as a mission however it was furnished and stuff. Beta game or not I so wish I hadn't returned it to the rental store but I had no clue the released version was different at the time.
There is a Library Mission, but it was released in 2007 by the modder bmw:
But as for an actual mission in the game itself, I played Goldeneye quite a bit, and hacked it with my gameshark heavily. I do remember somethings that resembles what you are talking about, but nothing that was official. There were codes that allowed you to spawn some guards in some multiplayer stages, though they were mostly maps like Facility and Egyptian that had a single player version. Though this was super buggy and would crash with more than two players. I do not remember there being one for Stack/Basement/Library, but there could have been.

I don't think the gameshark was out when we rented the game. The weapon we used was the ar33 assault rifle. We shot many guards as we went up the ramp out of the basement to the small room with 2 secret doors and more guards came through them. There was also security cameras and an alarm. I need the GE team designers on this. I want to play this level again and share it with the world.
Well if you can find anything I would be very surprised. I still play Goldeneye every month or so, and have 100%ed the game several times. And, just like you stated on Nintendo Age, I have beaten it on Agent with 100% accuracy. I have also gone through many new missions, played alot of Goldeneye X and Source, and ripped the game apart in an editor. So if you discover something new in a game that has been poked and prodded by so many I will be very impressed.

Actually, I believe the Nintendo 64 GameShark Pro predates GoldenEye 007.
Also, your using the AR33 doesn't make sense, as that particular weapon was only found in the Jungle, Caverns, Cradle, and Aztec levels. This has to be some kind of bizarre level not found in the normal game.
^ I'm pretty much in the same boat as billy. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. I've probably poured more hours into Goldeneye than any other game.

Yes I do want to contact him. I thought he was the one who made the library mission since he posted a youtube on it as well. I talked to wreck a few months ago on shootersforever about this but said I was thinking of the archives as well or making it up. Also have you tested the not for resale version and looked through it? They say it's the same but I don't think any hackers even own it. I'm working on buying one someday. Subdrag may know a lot but if by chance I played a beta or different type of demo, only the GE team could help me. On nfr games there is two different zelda mm and pokemon snaps, one is normal and the other is a true demo, so what if there was a goldeneye demo and I rented it. My next step is to search my whole town and hope I can find it, since the rental store closed years ago and sold it all. Thanks for the help.

100% accuracy challenge is fun to do. I haven't attempted it on secret or 00 agent but have beating the temple on all 3 modes 100%. The hardest mission I dealt with was the control center as my control kept turning on it's own and trying to protect natalya at the same time. Also how did you figure out the way to 100% the archives?
