What was the last movie you've seen?

I'm thinking I'll need to go see this. I've got the original on DVD but seeing it in theaters is a totally different experience.
You're "thinking" that you need to see it?

Duder. Go.

I'd be all over that like noise would be on a LiLo meet and greet. GODZILLA, Japanese release, Big Screen, Surround sound...I just got goosebumps.

Have to admit I'm jealous. It's been a while since I've watched a movie in a theater just to watch it, and that sounds like tons of fun. Popcorn*, Mr.Pibb (best soda ever), and maybe even some of those sour patch gummies. I need to get out more.

*So...Movie theater Popcorn. Both of my local theaters have diy "butter" stations. Fairly sure it's canola oil, salt and artificial flavoring. The "butter stations" also have a variety of seasonings including "cheddar" and "salty". That's right, not salt, but "salty".

I'm sure indie theaters still have actual butter, but man o man, how disgusting is most of the popcorn sold in theaters these days?

I can't help but laugh my ass off every single time I hear "Thor's a Homo". Not a fan of gay/racist/dumb jokes, but for some reason the delivery of that line destroys me.

I'm hosting a party tomorrow night (so I've been told) and apparently we'll be watching a movie in my theater. I'm thinking about re-watching ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING or FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF. If I had my druthers I'd pick MONSTER SQUAD, but I'm outnumbered.

But I'm open to suggestions, so all of you guys and gals feel free to throw out some modern classics.

If you think the butter stations are disgusting as a customer you've never had to change the butter on one of them. It took me a solid week before I felt clean again.

You keep saying "butter". I don't think you know what this word means.

Joking aside, my wife makes the best popcorn my mouth has ever had the pleasure of tasting. She gets funky with her stash, sprinkling toasted paprika and such on her kernels, but her salted and buttered popcorn is dynamite.

My Grandmother also makes a mean batch of popped corn, using a cast iron skillet and a stick of salted butter, but my wife's popcorn is always an explosion of fluffiness with just enough butter to keep you reaching for more. You can't beat a great bowl of popcorn.

Popcorn should have real butter and be popped in coconut oil as it used to be.

Oh and while we're at it, french fries should be fried in tallow.

We do it that way when we go camping sometimes.

I will not cook with tallow in my house ever again - the smell NEVER leaves.

Saw The (technically 6th totally original) LEGO Movie, and I'm glad to say it easily surpasses their first/previous system/minifigure movie that crosses over into various themes; LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers (which I also recently watched), in every conceivable way. The storytelling, characters, animation, jokes and of course, appearances of and references to the various LEGO themes.
SPOILERS:
Like the "a bunch of others we don't need to mention" being Friends, Speed Racer, Bionicle and Fabuland and the Duplo appearance at the end :3 I wondered if they didn't want to mention them at that time, but perhaps "mention" them in the sequel...
