I recently purchased a few 80 core IDE cables from ebay since I've heard from many in the oXbox scene that upgradding from 40 core to 80 core improves loading times, etc. So, I bought three and when taking a look at them, see that the master and host are backwards. I have too much slack going from the optical drive to the motherboard, and way to little going from optical drive to the HDD and need this to be the opposite. I have two options:
1. order again online, or locally to make sure I get the right setup or,
2. take apart the backwards cables I have and reverse the master/host breadboards.
If I do the second, and put everything back together reusing the same holes that were made by the sharp pins, will I be compromising anything quality-wise?
