I am actually planning to get a ps3 now, I didn't expect I would get one after the PS4 is out but so it is. The price was never right for me, and about just a year ago I got an HDTV so it only makes sense now.

The reason I would get ps3:
1)Never ending game library
2)Downloadable titles from ps3/ps2/ps1 , indie games, and retro game ports
3)Free Bluray player/dvd player
4)Wireless Wifi (My 360 needs ethernet)
5)The only generation where 7 years after its release graphics still look awesome

I am also getting it used from a friend, I still think the price is high for new . What scares me most is they take the PSN games down, I simply save a lot on shipping by just downloading.(Or not finding PSN points like Wii Points right now)

All this makes me wonder, whatever happened to the 360?

What happend to the 360?

Microsoft has no interest in a games machine so under the guise of a console they converted the 360 into a prototype Cablebox.

Anyways I LOVE my PS3 I have never been happier as a gamer great first party games, great 3rd party games, All Genres getting some love and unlike XBOX Live Arcade, there is no set take down date for PSN so nothing feels like it's on Borrowed time.

I've owned both the PS3 and 360 for the last three years - I have about 40 games for my PS3 and almost 150 for the 360. For the longest time, especially as RPGs go, the PS3 library sucked, so I decided to support the 360 with the exception of exclusive titles. I still think this was a good choice. True, the 360 seems to be winding down at this point, but the library of games is very, very strong. It also works well because there are tons of weird, quirky games and RPG releases on the PS3 now and in the last two years, so I'm happy with both machines.

What does this mean? Games will be taken off the XBL or you get to play them for a limited time?

Anyone importing the Strider (2014) + Strider 1 and 2 PSone classics game?

http://www.play-asia.com/strider-hiryu- ... -71r5.html

Even if it's not in English, i cant imagine the menu's being too hard to navigate, i just would like to know if the DLC codes work on the NA PSN, or if all 3 games are included on disc?

Another revision might come, but I imagine we're at the final point for models on PS3. Pretty much all of the problems were bucked with the last one, although they may go for a more economical model in the future with a bit updated technology and smaller size, although I doubt it.
