Not sure if 45 year old dudes should still be trying to rap but i might give it a listen. I wasn't a big fan when they were big.

don't get me wrong, i can see why you and other people like that. just not my thing. a tribe called quest is another group that has that same vibe i believe you like. didn't care for them either back in the day.

A Tribe Called Quest is my favorite hip hop group ever. And Midnight Marauders my favorite hip hop album of all time. Yup. :D

midnight marauders is the only cd i bought from that group, bought it on release day. just wasn't for me. g funk and southern rap was getting huge at that time and i was big on that style i guess. it just reminded me of rapping over elevator music to me. don't get me wrong q-tip gets some props, hell of a lyricist.
