Personally, I'm sick of people complaining about Ziggler. He had his chance and he blew it. As a babyface, he was completely incapable of connecting with the audience. He just kept playing his stupid, heelish, "Show off" character. He's just like Miz, who turned face and yet still kept playing his annoying, "The Miz" character. These guys just don't "get it". Ziggler is overrated. You heard it here first. You want someone who can deliver a great match and sell offense like nobody's business, Ziggler's your man. You want a charismatic babyface who can get big pops, he's not it. Ziggler's mid card material and I will stand by that until he does something to prove me wrong.

So is Zack Ryder, another guy who was given the spotlight and was completely unable to do anything with it beyond repeating the same stupid catch phrases over and over again. There's a reason why guys like Punk and Bryan have overcome bad booking, and guys like Ryder and Ziggler haven't. The cream always rises to the top.

I'm sick of internet people going on and on about Ryder and Ziggler all the time. Both guys were given the spotlight when WWE heard the fan outcry for them, and they did NOTHING with their 15 minutes of fame. If Ziggler thinks wiggling his ass around and wearing pink shirts is going to get him over as a top babyface, he needs a reality check. And Ryder needs to learn how to say something other than, "Woo, woo, woo" and "You know it" when he speaks. I tune in to see people with interesting personalities, not cartoon characters with one liners.

Sorry for that little rant, but I feel some guys deserve all the internet buzz they generate (like Punk and Bryan), others don't. Reminds me of how the IWC used to go on and on about Del Rio, and now everyone finally sees that he's never going to be more than what we've seen. They turned him face, gave him a push, he flopped. Why? Doesn't know how to connect with the audience. So few guys understand that. It's why Bryan is ridiculously over, because he DOES get that.
SO we're just going to ignore that Ziggler is over? Gets good pops, is one of the best on the Mic? A genuinely nice guy and one of the best wrestlers they have?

Yeah lets do that and just hate on the internet for over hyping him that makes perfect sense.

What Chance did Ziggler have? He was mad crazy over gets a concussion and becasuse hurting his head is obviously his fault he gets buired. Ziggler is MONEY nobody works harder than he does and he deserves a break, he has the look, skills and is so good on the mic he deserves a chance to shine but they won't give it to him. Why? There is absolutely no reason why.

Ziggler's been absolute garbage on the mic since he turned face. His best days on the mic were when he was heel. There are also rumors that he has an obnoxious personality that rubs people the wrong way backstage. He bashed on Orton in one interview he did which some believe played a part in how much he's been getting buried on TV.

The whole concussion ruining his career thing is bull. He still got TV time when he came back, and he was dropping crappy promos and failing to connect with audiences.

Ziggler's where he is right now for a reason

People have been raving about this promo of his:

http://www.wwe.com/videos/tom-phillips- ... 2-26179139

To me, that promo just shows how clueless he is. He's a FREAKING BABYFACE!!! And he does a promo essentially going on and on about amazing he is, his "it" factor, the fact that he's better than everyone, and god's gift to wrestling

And you wonder why people don't cheer for a character with that big an ego and that much arrogance....

Ziggler doesn't "get it". I was a big Ziggler fan once, but at some point you have to ask yourself if it's really the company holding a guy down or is he simply not good enough. Ziggler's only hope of actually being important again is a heel turn, because as a babyface he is just as much garbage as The Miz and Del Rio have been as faces.

Thus far, I've not heard a single person excited about it. There's been no good build up for it, and people are still skepticle that WWE will give them what they want (Daniel Bryan winning the title)

Nobody sounds excited about the network either. They NEED to impress people at Elimination Chamber.

It's kind of funny. Fans are pissed at WWE and people within WWE seem pissed at the fans if events on Raw are any indication.

Orton did some move during his match on Raw that was a bit different from his normal routine and he angrily yelled at the crowd something along the lines of, "How's that for more of the same!!"

There's also that audio leek of Cole, JBL, and Lawler mocking the crowd's CM Punk chants

There's Batista looking genuinely irritated by the crowd's reaction to him

And there's Cena's promo basically admitting, or getting as close to admitting as possible, that fans are not behind him anymore...they've chosen someone else

Raw was quite fascinating in retrospect.

Random Thoughts:
The Wyatt Family is brilliant as always. I hope they win Sunday.

I also want to see Daniel Bryan vs Antonio Cesaro for the championship. That would be a great match.

I may have missed him but the lack of Heyman on tv is extremely noticeable since he's one of the few solid promos they have week in and week out.

TNA was actually decent last week. I'm hoping they can turn this around because we need options and good as Ring of Honor is they aren't on enough.

So i've not followed wrestling since a few years after WCW died. I've seen a few matches here and there but none of the wrestlers seem to have the charisma of the stars of old. Do you guys think i should give it another shot?

My favorite era was late 80's and early 90's WWF and WCW in late 90's to the early 2000's.

No, we share same taste in wrestling and the product of today is no where like the product of yesterday. I don't consider WWE/TNA wrestling,, wrestling is more of an excuse to make people watch the show. For example, TNA has a reality show about the wrestlers. Wrestling today is everything but wrestling.
