Ill keep an eye out for you. I have two Balltops and just one Bat, but at one point had five balltops. They pop up randomly for me.
Eh, I'm not actively searching for one. Just if I came across one for $5 or less I'd add it to the stable even though it would really be for collection purposes. Shipping would pretty much kill that unless you found one for $1 or wanted something off my trade list.[/quote]
Well they usually sell for $2 or less, so $1 is possible, and trade list is always fun.

No, but they were one of the better options back in the day and some people think they're still good as long as the 'squishiness' doesn't offend your sensibility. Suncom sticks like the one CRT noted don't have the squishiness, but are also great. Compared to the iconic, but terrible to use for any length of time 2600 sticks, they were both great upgrades for your 2600 or jut plain great for your C64.

Do you have one of the grey base ones? Maybe we could trade if I find some tapes I no longer want to hold onto. :)

Well Thrustmaster is a different brand. Wico is a specific brand, not some generic term. This person has nutty prices up that are far removed from reality, but convenient pictures. The ones at the top are what we're talking about.

What was he smoking when he decided those prices?

Is the Suncom Slik Stik any good? I see those all the time for like $2.

I have no idea either. The Slik Stick is a very basic design, but it works well. There's a metal ball on the bottom of the stick and it is in the middle of a sort of square shaft with a metal leaf on each edge. That means that it has a hard and fast stop once it connects the the movement isn't tiring like a 2600 stick. I've only had a Slik Stick for a little while, but it is the same design as the Starfighter next to it which is what I got with my C64 back in the day. It just has a different stick topper. Amusingly the shaft bit is a tire valve stem.

Cool. Maybe we can work out a trade for the Boss one. The Epyx stick is microswitch. The stick part is good, but the button takes a lot of effort to press. At least mine does.

Just to add, the 2600 Wico sticks have direct "spring" leaf switches inside and does not have the tactical click feedback as in microswitches of the EPYX and Mindscape. I have five Wico bat handles myself but never thought to get the ball top back in the day.

Wow those Amiga sticks are crazy over priced! I have three of those, two kept in the pouch with my SX64.
