What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I wouldn't bother. That game is shockingly overrated.

I have always tried to play the game, but there is a lot of trial and error in the game I feel and it bothers me. What I do like is the details. there are a lot of dialog and a lot of cool details that are very iconic of Kojima's other games (like Snatcher and Policenauts). I am gonna get through it, because I own it and I have to...but there are a lot of bumps along the way.

MGS is a fine game.

Smile: Eating chili outside in the falling snow.

Smile: Knowing myself and my wife may have the entire week "off".

Smile: Hosting a Martini event on Valentine's Day at my local art museum. Should be classy.

Smile: Yoga with my wife. Stretching and breathing, but it's fun. Plus my bones and organs made all kinds of creepy and silly sounds. I'm going to keep up daily with yoga, as although I don't find it to be a strenuous workout (although I know it can be) but it helps relax me, and I'm almost always wound as a watch. Good stuff to do before going to bed (I have super bad insomnia).

Smile: Seems like some people figured out "Um. I'm arguing on racketboy for some...no...no reason at all".

Smile: Already have a snow filled walk planned for tomorrow. And maybe, just maybe my dog will be able to walk with us.

Smile: Duke Nukem Forever is available for a penny on amazon. Asked a guy if he was willing to haggle on price, he didn't get the joke.

Smile: I'll beat Metal Gear (NES) tonight, no doubt about it. It's not 10pm yet, so I have at least another two hours, which is probably an hour more than I need.

Frown: For the sake of convenience, I'll be playing the NES on a HD tv and not a CRT. No biggie.

Your fiance and I share a birthday. I'm sufficiently freaked out by this.

In preparation for tomorrow's UNC vs. Duke game:

I also think college pride and college rivalries are quite stupid. I mean, both my wife and I earned/paid for both our under grad and grad degrees, and we'll root for our team but we really don't give two wags.

I get a lot of guff for owning a dozen or so hockey sweaters and supporting almost any team. S'cool to root for a team, but fandom is pretty dumb*.

*but it sells merch and tickets.

:D Going through some boxes and found I still had the Elder Scrolls Arena: Deluxe Edition with all the materials including the mousepad map, CD-Rom, Hint book and manual...just missing the box....would be nice to have that all complete.

Frown: Too bad this is a hoax:

Frown: Holding a meeting about a comprehensive marketing calendar, per request.
A meeting isn't necessary. You read the minutes from the last meeting, and transfer the dates, deadlines, and responsibilities to your daily planner. BOOM! Mission accomplished.

Some meetings are a waste of time, especially when most issues can be solved via group e-mails.

:D Was driving today and noticed that all of the limbs on the trees were frozen and incredibly bright white against the sun. Quite a breathtaking view to say the least!
