Got this handheld from a ebay sale I won and it arrive to me today.

Neo Geo Pocket with one game

Nothing crazy except....it's front lit

Here is a comparison shot with my Neo Geo Pocket Color with Bust A Move Pocket with the same game on the front lit Neo Geo Pocket Color.

This is going to be very useful when I am playing this on my bed before I go to sleep. Love the Neo Geo Pocket.

I pay $121.54 CAD which is $110 US dollars and yes mjmjr25, it's from that eBay ad. Was checking on it and yea, kinda gave in and buy it as I know they're people who love to get that. Only issue right now and I am going to send it back tomorrow to the seller so he can fix it is the screen is actually slowly popping out a bit on one side.

Here is my own Neo Geo Pocket Color with no front lit.

You can see it the pop up. Hope the seller can fix this asap as I do want it badly.

noise, if you follow Rose Colored Gaming they sell pre-modded frontlit NGPC's from time to time. Wonderswans, GBAs and GBCs, too. i have a "Dingy" GBA and i love it.

Yea, Rose do sell the frontlit NGPC but his quality of service is a hit or miss from what I read. Can't say much on my side as I never buy his stuff but from reading from other forum, it depend on your luck. I will post a link of other forum of people who buy his stuff and were disappointment for what they got.

i saw that interaction a while back, and it was before i ordered my GBA from him. i will attest that the quality is definitely up to my standards, but the GBA is backlit, whereas the NGPC, WSC and GBC all have to be frontlit, so they kinda wash out the colors and give that weird "banding" effect. i dunno, i think that dude on AA had unrealistic expectations, and was kind of being a dick besides.

Rose Colored Gaming gets my seal of approval, never had an issue with anything from them.

I had done my own front lit mod to my NGPC a while back, and it is pretty washed out, but much more playable than without the light.
