Under Defeat- Another shmup, another great game. The game is pretty short, and if you're going for the platinum it's still short but it does require 6 playthroughs. It took me a little under 3 days to get the plat. The gameplay is fun and addicting (like most good shmups) and the graphics are great. I think this was originally for the Dreamcast, so the graphics are updated for the PS3. The only thing I didn't like was the anime/manga art in between the stages. It was strange. Nonetheless it didn't affect gameplay and that's all that matters to me!

I beat the AI on the hardest difficulty in Snafu, so I suppose I beat the game. My first Intellivision title to make one of these lists!

TvC is my favorite vs. game and I couldn't think of a better fighting game to put first second on my list for the year. Great fun!

I'm not giving you a hard time, or judging. I'm just kind of surprised that you'd put TVC above CVS2. Or even MVC2. Don't get me wrong, I like TVC quite a bit. I love CVS2 hard though.

Then again, not sure how big a fan of SNK fighters you really are? You know I love Garou Mark of the Wolves. I kind of feel like CVS2 fits into that style of Garou or 3rd Strike. Almost a combo of those two games.

I agree completely. It is zany and I love the Tatsunoko characters. My second favorite is Marvel vs Capcom, followed by Capcom vs SNK 2.

What is this lack of considering X-Men vs Street Fighter, and SvC:TMotM?

Also...really? MvC2? Besides the roster size, there is a lot the game gets horribly wrong, like its horrendous lack of balance.
