umm I paid for an item on ebay and it doesn't appear as paid

So i bought a neo geo control overlay over my lunch break and paid via paypal. it says it was completed in my paypal acount but the dollar sign is still not colored in and it has the option to pay now next to it, and when I click on that it just takes me to a page where there is no option to pay just to see my paypal transaction which says completed. I messaged the seller to make sure he got the payment, hopefully its just paypal being a bit slow.

Sounds fishy to me. There is a option to mark an item as unpaid from the sellers menu. Guess we will see when he responds.

yeah you're gonna be alright. worst case you'll just have to file a claim but since you've got record of it you should be ok.

Yeah your fine. You have proof so the buyer protection should cover you no problem if the guy attemptes something weird.

I forgot to mention after i bought it and when to my recent purchases page it gave me some error that said something like this page couldn't be updated at this time, sounds like ebay may be a bit glitchy

I've had a few times recently where I paid something and it showed paid, then a week later the seller finally ships and suddenly is shows I paid that day, not a week earlier. Not sure if that's a somewhat related glitch or if the seller was just super duper slow to actually 'take' the payment?

do sellers have to accept the payment on ebay? it's always showed it was paid the moment after I sent payment.

I was just positing a theory. I see no other reason except for glitches that items paid (and showing it) for a week suddenly said they were paid about a week later. *shrug*

There is an option that says " mark as payment sent"
