what is a good price if you are looking to buy a commodore 64?

For just the computer, $20. For a 1541 drive, $15, and maybe $30 for the monitor. You can use a TV, but the picture on a commodore 1702 is really nice.

I'd really recommend looking for a commodore 128 first. It can do everything a C64 can, and more. In particular, the 1571 drive is a vast improvement over the C64's 1541. I'd pay $50-$60 for a C128 with a 1571 and consider that well spent.

I'm probably lowballing these a little bit, but that's what I'd consider a "good price".

i have one i will sell you for $5 plus shipping. i am not sure if it works. it's just the computer.
