WTF? Metal Gear Solid 5 is a current gen game!

Eh, it'll give me some time to wait for the PS4 to come down in price before ponying in on one. I don't think Gran Turismo 5 was that successful commercially, but I could be wrong. I also don't like the idea of paying $40/$30 for a demo. Used to be that a demo would come packed in with another full game. I miss those days.

And yes, Konami said in a financial meeting a couple days ago that The Phantom Pain won't hit until Q3 2015 or Q3 2016!!! depending on how development goes.

Well if that's true then I'm glad we'll have access to Ground Zeroes. Dang guys, it's only $30- heck, $20 if you download it! And you guys can't lie to me. If you're a die-hard fan, how many times have you replayed these game? You'll get your money's worth.

More like how many times have us fans rebought the games with all the various releases and versions out there? Definitely a hilarious joke among some of my friends and I haha...

It's not like any of the other MGS games are all that long either, but they always excel in replay value. So I'm not surprised about that at all here.

After reading a bit more on the details and seeing the lowered price point, I don't have as much of a problem with this. That being said I won't be playing it yet since I don't plan on getting a PS4 until the full game comes out.

And like I said earlier, there very well might be a version of ThePhantom Pain that includes a copy of Ground Zeroes as well.

Konami's output is so abysmal. It would have been nice to have this demo included with a new Zone of the Enders for example.
