I wonder if they ever approached Kurt Russell to reprise his imitated Snake character?

Seen this coming for a while now, just didn't expect the terrible pricing. I'm a massive MGS fanboy but I won't be purchasing Ground Zeroes. Also add in the fact that Konami has stated that The Phantom Pain won't release until Q3 2015 or even 2016 and I've lost any hype I had for it.Pulsar_t wrote:So the next MGS is a $40 glorified demo.![]()

Am I missing something? Where, in that article, does it give any reason to indicate Ground Zeroes is "a glorified demo"?Pulsar_t wrote:So the next MGS is a $40 glorified demo.![]()

Kind of? There's supposed to be a handful of challenge missions or something.Reprise wrote:There is more to it than just a 2 hour story though, right? Right...?![]()

As a huge MGS fan that's probably what I fear most. How many casual game fans are going to walk into a store next month and see "MGS5" on the shelf and instantly jump at the purchase without the knowledge that this is just a prologue?Xeogred wrote:I feel this is a dangerous move because if the reception isn't good, it's going to hurt MGS5 one way or another. Though my friend was telling me they're now saying Phantom Pain probably won't even hit until 2015 or something.
