I found some rare games today for okay prices ($64 total).

I also found this. I don't know if it's worth anything or rare but I had to buy it for $1.99 because I liked the movie and the show.

Found a really nice Minish Cap for 35 bucks complete as can be. I thought I was overpaying but recent auction say I did decent.

Nice find! I have played that Mushroom Men on the Wii, a very good and unsual game.

I got mostly sleeve games (ugh), but the price was okay. :|

This. The GBA Pocky & Rocky is great.

There's also a Pocky & Rocky game on Taito Legends 2.
Forgot to say thanks for that, I have Taito Legends on various regions and on a couple of different consoles. Too many games to keep track, I think I played that KiKi KaiKai a couple of years ago and thought it looked familiar. I also tried out the SNES version again emulated in my PS2, such a cool game with the rapid fire shooting of cards and all the Japanese "mythology" creatures.

I went to Gamestop just to pick up Heavenly Gardian for a compare. Confirmed the 75% off, but store had a paper sleeved disc only! Passed up on it, the employee mentioned unlikely to find any Gamestop that still has complete PS2 games. Told him I'll just get it from Amazon, knowing any local retailer hayes that word. I think there are a couple of stores that still might have CIB games buried in the back room? :?

I picked up a few things today but none of them were great deals really.

Anarchy Reigns PS3 for a fiver from Big Lots.

Punch Out Wii non-Greatest Hits in like new condition for $15, Ninja Gaiden Black for OXbox in like new condition for $11 from Bull Moose.

Pro Wrestling SMS complete for $6 and Kabuki Quantum Fighter NES sealed and minty for $40 from the retro store down the street.

Picked up a few new items too. Black 3DS XL from Walmart, Luigis Mansion, Zelda ALBW and the Mario themed Wiimote for about $5 less apiece than normal since I got them from Bull Moose.

Picked up some boxed odds and ends, as well as a stack of cheap, unremarkable Dreamcast games. The Game Boy is box- and styrofoam-only, but it's in near-perfect condition. I had never seen the Video Shooter before; it's some sort of wireless, unlicensed Zapper clone.

Amusingly it is a copy of the SMS light gun.

It was a pretty good week. I found this lot of Nintendo Power mags on Kijiji for $10. I had to be really quick to get those. The N64 controllers and transfer pack were $17 total.

Got that cheap intec PS2 A/V Switch + Multitap today. It's definitely a bit different then what I was expecting but still pretty neat for $7 shipped.

Image

Quick Review:
To start with this box serves the purpose of being an a/v switch box, DVD remote system, system stand and 4 person multitap plus it completely takes the place of the standard A/V cable for the PS2. It does what it says it will and seems to work pretty well, However this product does have some flaws.

First of all it draws it's power from the PS2 controller port meaning if the PS2 isn't on it wont work. However it can turn the system on and off using the remote.

Also when using the multitap the system fails to recognize the controller when in the menu screen(didn't try it in game but some reviews stated that it wouldn't work in games which didn't support the multitap). However there is a fix for this basically plug it into controller and memory slot 2 and leave a controller in slot 1.it looks a little akward but there is enough slack in the cable to do it.

Now for the upside the dvd remote is great. You can use it to navigate the system menu(although I couldn't get it to go back) and it is able to turn the system on and off. While the remote does feel cheap it functions great and was still picking up from 30-40 feet away as long as I kept the remote pointed directly at the box and nothing was in the way. If however the remote is not pointed directly at the sensor on the box it doesn't pick up at all. One downside to the remote is it uses a weird cell battery which would probably run $2-3 bucks if you had to replace it.

Altogether I will say at $7 shipped it is a pretty good deal for what you get. It completely replaces the official A/V cable for your PS2 providing Composite and S-video output for the system, it is a cheap multitap for the few games that support it, and the DVD remote is great for powering off the system from a distance. Remote would be especially nice when paired with a wireless controller. However the A/V switch box functionality is pretty much zilch for me you would be wasting energy by having two systems on at a time plus you would be putting unnecessary hours on your PS2.

Also this is for use with slim systems only. You could use it with the standard PS2 there probably isn't enough slack in the cable for it to reach controller slot 2 and the system wouldn't fit on the stand.

Box is one of those pain in the but plastic deals :P.

It comes with a set of Composite + S-video cables as well as a PS2 A/V cable(no clue what the connector is called) :P

Cable can stow away on the bottom.

Remote can stow away in a side compartment but there isn't anything holding it so it can fall out easily.
Image

Putting the slim on there kind of defeats the purpose of having a slim lol. This box is bigger then the system :P.

There is a red indicator light to show when it is on and a green lights to show which a/v input it is on.
