How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
You know noise it is my favorite system to collect for also. I have like 150-160 games and I want to fulfill my resolution but right now since only one income is coming in I can only do one game a month. I love the system though. I know how you feel about getting a urge to collect hard for the system. During the time the dc was out everybody shit on it except for hardcore gamers and no one cared about it except for the 64, ps1/2, xbox, and gc. Now since people realize that this system is still ALIVE AND WONT DIE people are getting into the dreamcast and yes games have doubled since last year or so, but when I see games out in the wild complete its the only thrill I get anymore.

I'm excited. I wanted a good way to get original screenshots for my site. I forgot I had a spare DVD Recorder sitting around. I hooked up to my CRT and have the DC going into it via S-Video. So now I can just record myself as I play games and can then easily take screenshots from the disc.

4 Wheel Thunder is pretty fun, as Midway games typically are.
Speaking of racing games on Dreamcast I've always wanted to play Spirit of Speed 1937..... the final LJN game!

A Thunder game that was console exclusive? You bet! DC does race games pretty good.BoneSnapDeez wrote:4 Wheel Thunder is pretty fun, as Midway games typically are.

I saw Spirit of Speed in the store today -- but I know how terrible it was. Find it cheap, maybe

been so long i forgot the screenshots, lol. beat it about 10 years ago. great game, but a bit on the easy side. need to fire that one up again. i've had timestalkers for about 10 years also and never touched it. i think that's the only rpg i haven't played. already beat soa and the evolutions. record of lodoss war i got pretty far in but quit playing so i'd have to start that one over.

Grandia II has felt really easy... until now. Like I said, just over 10 hrs. But I'm up to the bossfight against Valmar's Eye. OMG. Kicking my ass over and over again. That's the boss that has all the eyeballs floating around. I feel like even though I'm trying to wipe one eye out before they can do the Delta attack, they hit me with it so fast. Brutal.
But I am loving the game. I think it's incredible.
