Fun stuff!
I have a bunch of neat vinyl that I think is super-cool but might not interest the average person. I have two records of kazoo music, a Jesse "The Body" Ventura picture disc, a bunch of colored things, some 78s, flexidiscs, one record shaped like the continental US, and even a J-pop version of one of the songs from Dragon Quest II!
I also have a cool two-disc collaboration between John Giorno, William S. Burroughs, and Laurie Anderson in which they each get a side to their own work but the FOURTH side RANDOMLY PLAYS one thing by one of them.
I love records. Most of my oddities came from a trip to the
WFMU Record Fair in NYC. It's hosted by my favorite station and they get dealers from all over the country to bring ALL KINDS of awesome stuff. The only unfortunate thing is that some records are
ridiculously expensive. Some day I'll go back...
