Anyone have input on this VGA Box:

I currently have a regular VGA cable (no box), but this box on eBay is going for $35.00. I'm debating if I should buy it or not. It looks like it was the same one sold on the RacketBoy store.

I haven't used one, but in the "also looked at" is what looks exaclty the same, minus the Retrobit branding.

Same date on the silkscreen, I'm sure same factory. Cheaper.

Thats an auction btw, but it might end a few bucks cheaper if you win. I do warn you these VGA boxes are really cheap and flimsy, I've had two break on me.

Just picked up this cable. I can't get my TV to recognize the VGA input. My Samsung LN-T4066F has a VGA port and it does support 640x480 so I don't know why nothing is working. I go into the setup and the PC option is greyed out.

EDIT --- Found out that I had to use another VGA cable with two male ends, touch a paper clip to the outer metal casing on the other end not plugged into the tv and pin #10 and bam, PC lit up in my input options. Plugged in my DC with the VGA cable and it worked! Apparently Samsung has a "Greyed out PC" problem. Now to play some Gunbird 2 in crispy crispness.

The cables usually come with breakout stereo cables.

If you get the box, I think you will get

hoping some of you can help me, i currently have this VGA box > the VGA to HDMI converter (only one monoprice sells) hooked into my XRGB, which the mini wiki says isn't ideal and it'd be great to free up an AC slot as well as not have to mess with more ports on the framemeister.

the dude who sells the Hanzo on Assemblergames says he's working on a Kenzai that would plug directly into the EU SCART adapter i have, so i'm basically waiting to see how that pans out - only downside i can think of is it lacks an RGB option, unless i buy said Hanzo to replace my current VGA box, which at $60 seems a bit excessive but i would like to play Bangai-O one day. any suggestions? i tired the S-vid cable off this box but it won't display with my current setup...appreciate any help offered here.
