Youtube removes 480P and 1080P support ?

hi again , i use Google Chrome just to play Youtube videos as Firefox stutters like crazy for me for some reason.


ive noticed recently that 480P and 1080P resolutions have been removed as options , anyone know why Youtube have done this ?

Pretty sure it depends on the video the user uploads.

i watch a lot of Luke Morse videos and most have been upped at 1080P , now they will only go as high as 720P ..........1080P is now missing.


also i got a new Digital Video Camera about 3 weeks ago and upped a video at 1080P , i can only view it in 720P as the max res.

I just noticed that too. I'm guessing it's a glitch from a serverside software update?
