Neither look difficult to access to me. The bottom one has a panel directly to it. The upper one needs the keyboard removed, which is just a couple screws and three clips, then possibly disconnecting the ribbon cable (my guess is you can just flip it over onto the wrist-rest though). The RAM itself looks to be easily accessible once the keyboard is out of the way.s8n wrote: im really hesitant to open the whole thing up to access both rams , the 1 located underneath may be able to exchanged with your advice but the other needs the rest of the Laptop opened right up to access.
Old Laptop , upgrading and mixing ram a bad idea ?

My favorite operating system for old machines is XP: Performance Edition.
Favorite quick-fixes for spyware and the like: Combofix, followed by Hijackthis to see what might still be there, followed by CCleaner. Note that the first two tools do require a fair bit of knowledge, and the first one is only recommended for techies (tho I've old had to do manual recovery once in all the years I used it)...
Of course it's best to go through the add/remove programs first and remove anything suspicious properly before running any malware removal tool.
