Ok, so I may be done with buying games from eBay or their affiliate websites. First was the problem with the DQIV DS game I bought a few months back. Now, I have bought a lot with the first three SSX games complete. The description read "All games in excellent condition with no scratches". Now, the pictures didn't show the disk surfaces, but they did show everything else which was in great condition. So, I thought no big deal, it was only $12.99 with free shipping. Anyway as you can guess, the disks were scratched all to Hell.
I'm not returning them because return shipping would have been approximately $7 (which is what he paid to ship them to me). So, the games play, as far as I can tell. But, I would like to know the best way to have them resurfaced. Anyone have any ideas?

Sometimes an independent game seller or movie rental store has a commercial polisher and will charge a few bucks per disc. If the scratches are not too deep you could try fixing the discs yourself with good plastic polish such as the type used in convertible top windows.

Most disc buffing machines stores use leave the disc looking awful when they are done (some times worse than before it was buffed!). I really like the results from the "ECO-SMART" machines. Two of my local game stores use them and the discs look pretty amazing, almost mint. They have been able to take out some extremely deep scratches with out leaving any noticable swirls.
