Thanks to you guys I breezed through Ipsen's Castle and was doing fine until that earth shrine boss. Had to backtrack and level Quina up and get the appropriate gear. Found Daguerro by accident which was nice. I'd forgotten how much I miss world maps. I'm now going to do some side quests before I set off for
Terra

Thanks, I'll check that out.

Just entering Darm Tower in Ys.

The first half of this game is so much better than the second.

And so far this is the easiest version of Ys I've ever played.

Been playing Valkyrie Profile Lenneth non-stop since last night :P. Damn that game is addictive.

Just finished chapter 1 and already sent a third recruit up to Asgard. Really digging the dungeons and characters. Music has also been pretty awesome.

This game was a steal at $7 I highly recommend anyone who doesn't have it to scope out their local game stop.

Well Ys is shorter than I remember.

Or I guess it becomes "short" once you've played it 100 times.

Playing Shin Megami Tensei IV on the recommendation of some of you here on the board. Getting really into it, the game is a lot of fun and pretty addictive. I'm around 9.5 hours in and level 14. The game just got to the point where it opens up and I'm pretty excited. I've found 2 transporters and am looking for some more. I've also got a lead on where to find the base I'm looking for in the main quest. I've got a bunch of side quests to do and there is some exploration to be had.

I love the music in the game and the general mood/feel of the game universe. I'm a sucker for weird sci fi. I'm becoming a fan of the series. I feel like I've now got a whole series of 80 hour games to add to my back log.

Nah, it's short the first time too. I've only played it twice though.
