The exact opposite of what I thought would happen happened, which is exactly what I wanted to happen.

A few years ago when the Colts played the Bears in the Super Bowl the game started out with the Bears running back the first kickoff for a TD and Manning's first pass was picked off. The Colts ended up winning the game. After the safety and pick, I thought Peyton would once again make a monumental comeback.

Didn't happen. It's even arguable that the Broncos never recovered from the safety. And let's not beat around the bush, the Seahawks played okay football, the Broncos played terrible football. The Seahawks played with poise and persistance, but the Broncos simply stunk up the field. Credit is due though to the Hawk's O-line. They did a great job at keeping Wilson safe.

I disagree - a great defense can make any team look terrible. I think the Seahawks played GREAT defense, good enough offense, great special teams, and that the Broncos' "terrible football" was more a credit to the Seahawks defense than a fault of the Broncos' offense.
