I generally don't care but if it's GH or not but if the option is available I prefer black label. Although, I will choose GH if it has extra content.

I definitely prefer Black Label for PS1 games, but for gamecube/wii, I couldn't care less. I can't say why...
Sega Genesis (Model 2), Sega CD, Sega 32X, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Game Boy Family, Phillips CD-i Model 910, NES, Atari 5200, Virtual Boy, Atari Jaguar, Playstations 3-4

I'm a little picky about it with the PSX. The black is so much sexier than green. I've gone at of my way to get original releases sometimes.
PS2... so-so, the greatest hits cases are kind of ugly.
And while the PS3 ones are the most invading (entire case being a solid red), I actually kind of love them and almost wish the red was the main color. So I totally don't mind with PS3 games.
I don't think I've ever cared about this on other platforms.

It really doesnt matter to me too.
Its all gone colorful lately on any type of case.
as long as the disc plays and the case isnt all fu*ked up, its all good.

It doesn't matter to me. Unless one version has more content or something similar. But I can't think of any that are "Greatest Hits" that this has happened.

No particular preference either way.
For some collector types though I could see how that would mess with their OCD.

It really matters on a case by case basis with me.
PS1, I go black label only. That horrible green sidebar is ugly and reminds me of cheap wrapping paper.
Anything else, I don't much care.

I kind of agree. The red on PS3 GH boxes looks great, and goes really well with the boxart for some games. Like, personally, I think DMC4 looks amazing with the red box.Xeogred wrote:And while the PS3 ones are the most invading (entire case being a solid red), I actually kind of love them and almost wish the red was the main color.

I don't get how people hate the PS1 greatest hits green but can stand the Gamecube greatest hits yellow......
Re: Do you care if a label is Greatest Hits?
Not me. I know it's wrong, but I automatically start judging collections when I see a sea of yellow and red. It's just so jarring.
