Nice finds emwearz.

Despite all the flack it gets, I still dig the Neo Geo X.

I really hope the Mega Pack comes down in price. I'd love to be able to play portable versions of Blazing Star, Blue's Journey, and Metal Slug 2...

Just bumped into pretty good psp deal over at Walmart. Can get a new PSP-3000 with 3 game for $100 shipped. Games options aren't that bad either they have Final Fantasy 1 and 2 plus a few other decent titles.

Starting to understand some of the flack.

So the mega pack comes with this stupid 'rocket cable' which you need to use to update the firmware. Basically you plug the cable into your power adapter, it flashes blue, you put the game card into the handheld, you hold start while plugging the other end of the 'rocket cable' into the console, it flashes a few times then starts an updating process.

All good, mine started doing that, half way through the screen went black, I left it for over and hour just in case, but it clearly crapped itself. I restarted, no issues, I could go into the menus and play the games, but it was on the old firmware.

When I try to repeat the process it gives me an error saying "Game Card Fault", I have emailed both EB Games and Tommo. After a little google, heaps of people are unable to get their system to update, which means you can not play the Mega Pack, because it requires the update.

Goody! Seriously, I have homebrew enabled consoles that took less effort.

Unexpected find today -- local Future Shop clearing a bucketload of 3DS/Vita games for $5 and $7 (Canadian money, so now you know it's a deal!) Mostly shovel/junkware and sports games, but picked up Lego Legends of Chima for Vita for 4.97, and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask for 3DS for $7. Very pleased! Picked up some Wii U titles too -- Assassin's Creed III for $10, Darksiders II for $10. A discouraging amount of Wii U games are on final clearance, and it's been moved to the smallest shelf space available in the game section.

Unfortunately it looks like a lot of stores in my area are ditching their Vita game stocks. On one hand, this is good for picking up some extra games on the cheap, bad for being able to find titles locally in the future. Why doesn't anyone love the Vita?? :(

It's a very underrated handheld. I bought mine with a handful of games in 2012 and loved it while I was overseas but I admittedly stopped playing it once I got back to the States. The library just isn't what it could be and I don't think Sony does a good enough job of making the public aware of what is being released or how capable it is as a gaming system. As much as I try to keep informed about what's going on in gaming, I couldn't name 4 games released on the Vita in the last year or anything coming up. It's technically superior to anything Nintendo offers but the games just aren't there.
"Oh great, another box of useless sh*t."

Main Collection: http://connect.collectorz.com/users/ynj ... collection - Not looking to move anything on this list but would entertain offers.

They will be, it takes time. The thing that I like is that the per cent of good titles vs crap is high. Less release but better releases is what sold me on my Vita.

Does anyone have any information on the Resident Evil disc? I couldn't find anything online or on eBay. It said Not for resale and had EB Games on it so I thought maybe it was a preorder promo or something they played on the TVs in the store.I'll replace the case on Metal Gear Solid, everything inside is in great condition. I also got Little Big Planet 2 special edition and Rachet and Clank All 4 One (brand new and sealed) for $5.

As you guessed, it was a preorder bonus from EB Games. There is also a preorder soundtrack, but not sure who the retailer was in the States for that.
