Philip Seymour Hoffman is dead, apparently of an overdose: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/03/movie ... .html?_r=0

He's far and away one of my favorite actors. He's been great in almost everything/anything I've ever seen him in. Some of my favorite roles:

Capote
The Big Lebowski
Magnolia
Before the Devil Knows Your Dead (such a good film)
The Master
Doubt (I'd put this up there with Capote as his best)
he's also got a fantastic bit in Charlie Wilson's War:

He made pretty much every movie he was in. Such great range and sincerity to his work.

Fucking sucks.

Agree, he owned every scene he was in. My personal fav of his was The Talented Mr. Ripley. Sad.

It is a shame to have such a talented actor leave us by such a vice. One of my favorite roles was him in Punch Drunk Love. To see him play a mattress selling pimp made me realize we had something special!

He will dearly be missed.

:P : Accidentally dropped an insane max bid on an item on Ebay :P. At least it was a good game and the bid isn't to high right now. Meant to bid $5.01 and forgot to put the decimal point :P.

:( : the copy of Super Mario World that I just sold on Ebay isn't playing according to the buyer so I might be out shipping if they have to send it back. Hopefully it's just dusty connector's since I had it playing before I listed it.

:D / :( : Supposed to get 6-10 inches tonight. Love the snow but hate traveling in it.
