yep and keep in mind A boards are rather large so the shipping is at least $15 thats why its often best to buy a bunch of boards together to save on shipping. I'd say make an offer of around $40 shipped and work from theremjmjr25 wrote:I can order some A boards, but there about $50 to yr door right now, as Ninja said, the best bet is to look on ebay and just buy a game you want that has the A board thrown in. People gouge when someone is looking for just an A board.
As for an A board price, $25-30 plus shipping is fair.

That's a good point. After building my supergun, I'll probably look into getting an A+B to save money.

I usually order from HKLegend, Tops, Fujita, or G-Front. Stock lists for some are woefully out of date, so it takes a day or two to confirm which place has what in stock and how much (listed rate is usually honored, though Fujita has changed prices from their outdated lists).
I can get the following, prices are ballpark and are estimated high (not possible to place exact amount as shipping (EMS only) and paypal / packing fees become less the more is bought).
Prices do not include shipping from me to you, which would be at cost. Shipping is usually a week to my door, and then 3-4 days from my door to yours.
CPS2 (green, on battery):
Vampire Hunter - $70
X-Men vs SF - $70
SSF II - $70
SF Zero - $60
Tower of Doom - $140
Pocket Fighter - $90
Marvel SH, Marvel v SF, Marvel v Capcom - $60
If anyone's interested in some NAOMI, ST-V, F3, Atomiswave or anything else, just let me know. I can get PCB's, but prefer cart based stuff for a few reasons.
I've found a 10-12 item box is usually the best, it fits just under the max EMS weight, and reduces overall shipping and fees the most possible.

Re: Let's talk about your CPS2 Collecting + Price Guide
got around to replacing my batteries in my CPS2 board, very easy and now very relieving to know my boards are good for at least another 5 years. But let me tell you I found it very hard to not break those little snap thingys inside the case, even with them broken it seems to close and stay closed just fine when the screws are put back in. Mike you know what I'm talking about?

The 3 black dust covers? Some boards still have the coin counter connected too, so you have to gently ease it open, or risk breaking those circular dust covers, yeah.

no no inside the case the little snaps that keep the two halves together without the screws, they all broke off trying to open the son of a bitch. not sure how I could of avoided it, but it stays together nice and tight when the screws are in.mjmjr25 wrote:The 3 black dust covers? Re: Let's talk about your CPS2 Collecting + Price Guide
Yeah so... I survived 4 whole months before getting my first board. Thanks, Mike!
In all seriousness though, I'm psyched. So many games I want, so little money. Obviously the D&D ones are tops, but hey you work with what you've got.
First step now though? Order some new sticks and buttons, a little trip to Home Depot for some wood and varnish, and gotta build me some 6 button sticks. Hard to play Street Fighter Alpha with only having access to Mid Kick on my Neo sticks
