We got a pretty big chunk back this year. Single income, two kids, and a college student wife warranted us a $7500 return. So: $3005 to pay a small student loan, we each get to spend $1000, then the remaining ~$2500 is going to pay down an $8000 student loan.

My $1000 so far has funded a clearance Pioneer SC-63 AVR. I got it for $700 with a three year warranty, which normally retails for $1350. The rest I'm debating on buying either an Xbox 360, or a brand new PS2 and PSP and some cheap games off of amazon. I'm leaning toward the PS2/PSP because it will become increasingly harder to find new ones, while I should still be able to buy an XB360 new for a while to come.

TL;DR: Some responsibility, some spending frenzy.

I'm currently in a lucky position where the money does not need to go to any kind of debts or responsibilities. My job is able to cover those just fine for the time being. So the entirety of my meager tax refund will be going toward fun stuffs.

Hoping to get a PS Vita, some games for it, and add more to my backlo- er, I mean collections for PS1 and GBA games.

Using it to finally buy a new bed so I don't wake up with a broken back anymore!
