I'm considering getting myself a saturn and modding it and getting whatever is necessary to be able to play anything i want on it, burned, imported, whatever. I'm looking up prices at the same time and trying to keep myself under a budget. Anyways, help would be appreciated, i want to make sure im not missing something or getting something that isn't needed.
- Sega Saturn (probably off ebay) (and a battery, very likely, off this site) - ~$20, plus $20 more shipping - plus $2 more for the battery
- Mod chip (I was pointed in the direction of this website for them but i can't seem to find them in the store. Am i looking in the wrong place..? The only other ones i find online are sold out or being resold, it seems. I'd rather buy one new.) - I'm guessing in the $20-$30 range?
- RAM Cartridge (off this site) - ~$20
- Memory Card? (the RAM cartridge doesn't cover this, right? I remember the saturn had a disappointingly small hard disk. I might get an action replay off play-asia instead of the RAM Cartridge if this comes out too expensive) - ~$25-$30 if i get the AR instead of the RAM cartridge from this site
- CDRs (any will work, right? The sega saturn can read even newer, high capacity CDRs, right?) - Probably around $10 for a whole bunch
Hopefully i'll be able to keep this close to or below $100. Can anybody answer my questions about the mod chip and memory card? Should i be looking for a certain sega saturn model? Is my list missing anything, or do i not need everything listed? Thanks.

Chip is here:

I like to keep it low profile
The RAM cart won't store game saves, but decent memory cards are getting hard to find
And the CDs question, just don't get the cheapy kind -- just a decent name brand
As for the model of Saturn. Look at the chip installation instructions for a "Model 2" -- that will help you find the best model to mod. You really need to look inside to be sure
