I know it took a lot of nagging for us to get the spoiler tags that we have now, and I much appreciate having them (I use them all the time)! However, there is one thing I'd love to see done, if possible.

Right now, you can't put a spoiler inside another spoiler. It breaks the second spoiler.

Example:
Here's the text inside the first spoiler tag.
This is suppose to be the spoiler inside the spoiler.
This might seem like, "Who cares?" But I could take advantage of this big time. I'm working on several write ups (or "guides" if you want) right now. No one likes walls of text. Spoilers help to find the info you want much easier and faster. For an example of how I'd use a spoilers inside of spoilers, I'd definitely like that for the flash card write up that I'm working on. I'm gonna be including basic info about flash carts, as well as mini reviews for flash carts (basically the major pros and cons for each model). It'd be real nice if I could say, SNES - Then have have spoiler for all SNES flash carts. Inside THAT spoiler would be a spoiler for each model. Then I can say Genesis - Again, one spoiler for all Genesis flash carts, with a spoiler inside of it for each model. And so on.

I don't know if this would be an easy thing to fix, or if any even knows how to or cares, but it's something I'd like to see. If only to better organize LONG posts. If not, oh well, I can work with individual spoilers.

A "vote up/down" feature might be interesting...

Check out how this feature is working out on GameTZ. I think you'll change your mind about wanting it. Then again this is a much different community.

Speaking of GTZ, why don't we have a offer system? It seems safer than just working with PM's.

So going back to what I said about spoilers inside of spoilers, I finally got around to posting the flash cart write up that I was talking about. For a visual... http://racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=36353

Take the SNES section, for example. I would like to have it, the way it is now with info at the top and individual spoilers, all inside a spoiler.

I don't know if it's a simple fix or not. I don't really talk on any other forums, so I don't know if this is normal behavior for spoilers or not.

Spoilers inside of spoilers is not a super easy add, but I will get with the database admin about it.

Voting system has been voted down many times over the years. As of right now it is not seen as to bring a big benefit to the community as a whole.

Xzibt needs to go back to oldschool Pimpmyride and start working on other things, like boats.

After browsing enough Reddit I can agree with no voting system. It encourages forced wittiness and puns that add nothing to discussions, even if it does give users the ability to downvote mediocre posters.

Wait wouldn't a voting system work to overhaul the bst feedback system we have in place?

Say we have a couple of volunteers that are allowed access to the voting system and give points that would stay on a users profile or whatever. We would still need the feedback thread to collect everything but it could work. I don't know just a quick thought I had after reading a bit of this thread
