Gamecube. I've learned over the Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, and GR series that these ports get a heck of a lot of stuff hacked out of them compared to the Xbox and PS2 releases, probably due to the media storage size? I still enjoy them, but I know there are features and maybe some story bits that get taken away to make it fit on the smaller discs.
I played the Tom Clancy games on Windows, since the PS2 versions were scaled-down as well. Pity they'd cancelled GR2 for the PC.

Yeah, I noticed that the PC versions of the Tom Clancy games are probably the best. I would definitely repurchase each and every one of them, they've all been great so far.

I just started Metro 2033 the other day. Up to like Chapter 3 now. Enjoying it so far, although I wish there was a bit more exploration involved. It's like there's a taste of it, but not enough for a full bite. Does this aspect increase further in the game, for anyone who's beaten it?

I knew it was a bad idea, but I just HAD to go with the hooker in Riga.
Grateful for checkpoint reloading there.
I've been playing through the Perfect Dark SP ever since I bought it while I was on sale for $2 on XBL a couple months ago. I sadly never played it on the N64 in 2000 cause at the time I was moving on to next-gen. Plus I was a little put-off by it not being a James Bond game.
Beat it on Coop Special agent with a good friend over two nights then finished it on the same difficulty solo. Definitely in my top 5 FPS campaigns. I'm slowing making my way through Perfect Agent. About halfway done. I'm amazed at how new objectives and changed level starts make you have to reconsider how you went thru a level before. And enemies are a lot more plentiful and deadly.

The sequel has a bit more exploration to it, but the franchise is a strictly linear affair. I take it you played STALKER and its sequels?

Not yet, but they're all sitting in my Steam backlog awaiting me...
Also, I saw that Last Light is going to be free for PS+ next month, so that's pretty good to know too.
