Best place to buy games?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Best place to buy games?

Post by MrEco »

Okay, so, in the upcoming week I will be putting in a pre-order for Dark Souls 2. Problem is, Amazon ran out of pre-order copies just a few days ago. So now I have to get it from somewhere else, with the other retailers that still have copies being Walmart, Best Buy, Gamestop, and Namco themselves.

Now I've never bought anything from the online stores of any of those four companies. So can anyone here who has had experience with them tell me which is the best to buy from? Which of them ships things out safely, which of them will ship pre-orders out early so they arrive on release, which of them are most trustworthy, etc.

Thank you for any help.

Unless your getting the collector's edition, just pick it up the day it comes out at best buy or gamestop, target, walmart, this game isnt going to be hard to find.

FWIW, I've read numerous horror stories of folks ordering direct from Namco due to Digital River, who handles their shop stuff. Google if you want to see.

Mkay, so Namco sounds like a bad idea lol.

But yes, maybe I should have been more specific, I plan on getting the collectors edition.
