The reality is i had different issues trying to get it to work with XP with a decent system. This display driver problem though is more seen on pc's running Vista though but it does happen in XP from what I've read.
The problems with the XP desktop seemed more daunting to fix then the problem i was having on Vista since Vista actually gave me an error to track (in XP it just crashed randomly).
