Not sure why WWE fans are crazy about Daniel Bryan, and the "YES" chant/catchphrase is very weak. I remember people got upset over Austin's "What?" , but that is much better than sreaming " YES YES YES YES"...

To be honest, I haven't followed the guy but from the bits and pieces I have seen I do not know where he gets his popularity from. Even more confusing, he does not have the usual look of the popular wrestler . In fact I do not remember any main-eventers with big beards except for some heels. He also looks like a "Goody two shoes" guy which is not a gimmick of the usual wrestling champion like Hogan, Flair, Sting, Austin, Rock, HBK, Diesel, Undertaker, Taz, RVD, Macho Man, Angle.

The really "innocent" gimmick is usually sits in the lower mid-card level, like the 1-2-3 Kid

This is EXACTLY how I feel. It's like CM Punk part 2, where the fans have latched on to a superstar that has wrestling pedigree and a scruffy appearance just because he is the alternative to seeing John Cena vs Randy Orton for the millionth time, but there's no 'presence' or aura around him like there was for Punk a couple years ago.

For those who don't know CM Punk has walked, he told Vince on Monday that he was going home and has been removed from all future events.

I have to assume that the two of you are Triple H and Vince McMahon in real life, since you both seem just as small minded as they are

Apparently, he - like everyone else(including Mick Foley - see youtube link below), was pissed about Bryan not getting his shot on Sunday and is sick of WWE in general

"- ProWrestling.net reports that CM Punk seemed very disinterested in the current WWE product at his Wizard World Q&A session in Portland this past Friday during Royal Rumble weekend. Punk was very upset about Batista getting the WrestleMania XXX main event. He said he is friends with Batista but he wanted to be honest and it was Daniel Bryan's year.

Punk made the comment, "I show up. Someone tells me what to do and I just go out do it and leave." He also implied his recent work was not good and that he was down to using two moves a match. Punk reportedly came off despondent and unhappy with WWE."

At this point, after last week's Raw and all, it's pretty obvious that Bryan being held down is all part of the storyline. So I seriously doubt Punk was walking because of the Bryan situation. Either that is part of the storyline, or there's more going on here if it's not.

Oh really? Thats what performers do, they get paid to play out their roles. This is like an actor being picked up for a certain role but he doesn't like it. Well if you do not like it, then make your own movie. In this case, open your own fed. in school gyms and do all the storylines you want...

I do not like this any better than Punk, but this is how the business works, you get paid to perform as you are told. You don't get paid to do what YOU wish to do...

WWE has a lot more invested in this business than CM Punk, and hence has a lot to lose. Whatever they are doing is in their best interests as they see it, it might be stupid, it might be wrong, but I am pretty sure they are not planning to ruin their income, revenues, job security, just not to push Bryan up

and I hate Triple H. This guy was not supposed to be pushed up...

So Sting vs. Undertaker rumors are swirling again, since Sting was "fired" from TNA recently. Do you guys think it'll happen this time?

Who do you guys think the investor is going to be on TNA tonight? It better be someone big, TNA needs something to reinvigorate them like never before.

If I was Sting I wouldn't do it ,, I want to be remembered in history as the only big time wrestler who never worked for the WWE. But I will work with something like TNA vs WWE , if I represent TNA and Taker represents WWE but we all know that will never happen.

Any way, both wrestlers are just too old to perform it will be like that time when Bret was against McMahon I think in wrestlemania.

Its over with TNA, the problem is not the promotion. Its the people behind the promotion.

As much as WWE sucks right now, they are still the big leagues. Not having ever worked with WWE is the sort of thing a wrestler may regret their whole life. From everything I have heard, WWE has already started the process of coming up with creative ideas and merchandise for the guy, and supposedly they've copyright the phrase "The man called Sting" or something along those lines. It certainly seems like Sting in WWE is a sure bet unless something crazy and unexpected happens, and given the recent Punk situation, it just reminds you that anything can happen in the world of wrestling

Everyone already knows who TNA's investor is. It's MVP. I like MVP a lot, but I doubt he's going to create much buzz for TNA, but hopefully I'm wrong.

WWE wants to hype the nostalgia factor on the network. We'll likely see Hogan and Sting soon I'd guess, and it's no coincidence Jake the Snake and the Ultimate Warrior are going in the hall of fame this year. Probably not a coincidence that the New Age Outlaws just became tag champs either. All just speculation on my part, but the older, WWF footage and WCW footage is a draw for the network. Sting could be the guy getting people to remember WCW and get the network for that purpose

Frankly, I think what happens at Elimination Chamber may heavily play a role in how many people tune into Raw the next night(their ratings were a bit lower last week than you normally see on a post Raw Rumble), and how many of them order the network after the show goes off the air. Fans aren't in the happiest of moods lately, and Punk leaving is just making it all the more apparent how shitty WWE is at the moment. There's a lot of people on various websites encouraging fans to just stop watching and stop buying. WWE may be "working" everybody with recent events to drum up attention and controversy, but it may bite them in the ass. I kind of see Elimination Chamber as their last chance to get back in everyone's good graces before launching the network and before Wrestlemania.

Frankly, I find arguments people make about WWE working fans kind of humorous as nothing they've done in the past ten years supports the idea that they are actually that clever.
