Not sure how I'll do with the other (cheap-ass) ones yet. Since it's just for my GBP systems, I might try it form the side again. I mean, I don't even know how the light distribution is, but it's worth a shot. Using them with the LEDs on the bottom would require a lot of plastic surgery (pun intended

Got myself a free soldering iron today from radio shack ($5 for each portable electronic (including games) you trade in, up to $25). Soldered up the screen to a GBC, and it's impossible to see through. No surprise there. Guess I'll remove it and find a DMG to mod.

On kitsch-bent, frontlight kit is out of stock and as we don't create an account, i'm worried about its seriousness.
Is there one other site witch sell a frontlight kit?
