I was playing Mine 1 and it worked fine. I know noise tried to join, but he couldn't.
I got trashed by the four boss things in the mine. I will try again later.

Re: Together Retro: Phantasy Star Online
It's pretty stable today. Atlas is still the only server up, but I'm doing some runs if anyone wants to jump in between now and 3:30EST.
Re: Together Retro: Phantasy Star Online
Do I have to wait for Schthack to reply to my email registration to play on their server?
I was playing on these servers which are solid, but it's not popular. Gotta play where the people are.

I'm worried my GC's ability to read discs is being hampered by PSO. If I wasn't concerned about that, I'd hop onto Sylverant with you, Melek.

I'm going to try to connect to Schthack anyway to at 14:00. Registration be damned.
Edit: I was able to play on Schthack without the registration confirmation. I just setup the provider and entered my Serial # and Access key. There was 45 people on ship Atlas when I signed off. No issues.
I'll be on again tonight at 20:00 EST for probably 2 more hours. Atlas, block 1, Team RBTR, password ballz.

I'm gonna try to put some time into it later on today if anybody still interested (noise, Space, AJ, etc.) care to join...

Re: Together Retro: Phantasy Star Online
I'm not sure I'll be carrying on at this point. My motivation to beat it is all but gone. I enjoyed my time with the game, but it was a bit repetitive, and I honestly never felt like my character was particularly effective - those rangers you guys all went seemed to outpace, outlive and outdamage me, even when I felt I'd powered up quite a lot.
I'm glad I played this one, I liked it well enough, but I'm happy to call it quits I think. Besides, who knows how much longer that server is going to stay up

Re: Together Retro: Phantasy Star Online
I was honestly going to try it out, but the server issues gave me an excuse to not go to the effort to register and set it all up.

Yeah, forces are pretty rough for a first character and in Blue Burst, Rangers do have an advantage (at least until the new items schtserv has added are taken into account).
Too bad someone had to DDOS the server and ruin everyone's fun. Terrible timing. I was looking forward to maybe helping some of you guys see the true final boss in hard mode and showing you some of the cooler items.

it really is a bummer. I feel like the month started off with a bang, and a lot of guys were really getting into this one. I thought it was great that for a couple weeks there I got a chance to play with so many configurations of guys that I normally don't get to game with.
