If you collect Big Box PC games, profess your love here! (With pictures preferably)

I love when you show off your big box PC games. I've pretty much geared towards console games more than PC all my life, except for a few of the earlier DOS essentials (Doom, Duke Nukem 3d, Commander Keen, etc). Whenever I went to thrift stores or garage sales I would brush over the big box items and go straight for the console games. Now however, after watching your channel I feel a huge void in my collecting heart that can only be filled with some of the cooler big box pc games I missed back in the day. In other words, I hate you

As always, lots of cool stuff. I unfortunately tossed a number of big boxes I'd held onto for a while during moves to and from school as well. I had taken a picture of some for my game room thread, but perhaps I'll find time to drag stuff out and take a few more this weekend.

I will take that hatred and let it give me fuel for finding even more rare and weird Big Box PC games...

...and then invite you over to the Metal Jesus Game Room for a cold beer and epic Duke Nuke'em multiplayer bout. Fair enough? :)

Metal Jesus: I have the T-Shirt to the Half Life 2 collector's edition. I have worn it plenty of times, but it's still in good shape. It's yours if you want it.

I'd be more interested in getting the Half-Life 2 Gold Package they did. The CE is really common. I've seen them at goodwill even.

The Gold Package comes with the entire guide (the CE it's a snippet) a hat, posters, postcards, stickers, and the sound track. Also it gave access to DoD:S

People don't even remember this thing. I was an absolute sucker to the Collector's Edition over the Gold Package. Absolute sucker.

Only place I can still even find reference to it is in this old IGN article http://www.ign.com/articles/2004/09/29/ ... s-revealed

Hahaha that sounds amazing! It's a shame i'm far East from you (Toronto) or I would definitely take you up on that offer... Preferably on a night you're filming a gamer eats episode :P
