Hey everyone, I consider myself to be an RPG fan, but lately, I feel like I never have time to play them because of my job, spending time with my girlfriend and just life happening, y'know? When I play RPGs I like to have at least a couple of hours to really enjoy the game... So my question :
How do you guys find time to play RPGs in your busy schedules?

I try to squeeze in video games (RPGs included) from 10pm - midnight a few times per week. That's about all the time I have.

Go portable.
Play a little between breaks at work, doing stuff at home, or by the bed whike you're resting.
Ive beaten plenty of rpgs on the psp and ds.

This is basically the only way I play RPGs now. I have two children, a house, and a demanding career, but I was still able to sink 120+ hours into Dragon Quest IX a few years ago. Morever (and IMO), many of the best JRPGs during the last decade were released on - or ported to - handhelds; so, if you enjoy that genre, the DS and PSP should be your systems of choice.

The last gen of consoles wasn't really known for having a lot of (J)RPGs.
The DS has countless RPGs worth your time. PSP was bursting with RPG releases near the end of its lifespan.
I don't know, but it is just easier to pick up and play a RPG on a handheld. It seems like a contradiction, cause you usually sink dozens of hours into these games. So you think you would have to think gaming sessions would last several hours.
Persona 4 Golden on the Vita is an excellent example.

Yeah, I've never been one to play a whole lot of RPGs on handhelds except for like pokemon or golden sun, but the more i look into it, the more great RPGs i find for the DS and GBA, so i'll definetly be picking up some games soon!

I just make time. Gotta make time for your hobbies. Usually 2 - 3 hours Sunday morning after breakfast and maybe before bed once or twice a week.
Re: Time to play RPGs
I still find time to play them, just in smaller spurts compared to when I was younger. Handhelds help too and since the majority of modern RPGs are released on handhelds that kind of works out I guess.

What is this "free time" of which you speak? Methinks it's but a myth.
