What game you lot playing usually? I'm thinking of getting Tekken Tag 2 for PS3, do people here play that?

Do you have SF3...or you don't have yr ps3 at all?

I won't talk smack - noise did handle me pretty well last night, think is 11-4 in his favor.

Hello again everyone. I think it's time we shifted from me asking what people want (not working) to just scheduling a night, stick to it and play a set amount of games.

This week the night is Wednesday, January 29th @ 8pm

This week we will go with: SF4, 3S and SC5.

We will do SC5 first from 8pm-9pm, SF4 from 9pm-11pm and finish with 3S if there is anyone on and willing to play 3S at the time, otherwise we will stick with SF4.

If people don't show we will just open rooms to randoms, so we can have at least variation in the room, or stream Buffalo players going at it in local matches, giving us a chance to take a lot more about match ups and what is going on in matches.

I will announce which locals will be attending this week and a little about what we plan to accomplish in each game (because setting goals=incentive) for the night.

Damn it, I went to gamestop to get Tekken Tag 2a nd it was sold out. Turns out there was some local tournament that made everyone buy the remaining copies.


They had Virtua Fighter V for PS3 for a few bucks, but I don't think that is online is it?

So i used a arcade stick last night and holy fuck balls this is hard! I didn't play fighting games that much back in the arcade days so im a complete newbie. I had a hard time doing sonic booms especially from a crouching position.

MK9 a game im pretty good at was slightly easier but still pretty tough. I think its funny i can do hadoken motion fireballs easier on MK . I guess i just have to train more.

Yep, there is quite a mechanical transition for your arms/hands when you go from thumb playing to wrist/whole hand playing. The experience can be jarring if you don't have traditional arcade experience, but like anything- it becomes easier with time and practice.

and so on... Good luck man! If you ever make it on stream chat, feel free to ask questions about it, we have many stick-users that come for the stream.

That being said-

We are still on tonight guys. SC5, SF3, SF4- you have all day to practice and show up! The more people showing up for a game, the more inclined we are to bring it back, support your favorites.

If we get another night of RB no shows, the stream will just revert to us playing randoms and talking about tips for beating online players. Also we may play each other on stream locally to discuss certain match ups and show some things we have been observing people here missing on certain situations or characters.

I'm hoping people show up for SC5, as 3D attendance has been woeful since we started this thing!
