Loot Crate anyone?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Well you have to take into account that shipping for the average person would be $5-6 + materials and handling. Only thing I don't find to interesting is it seems like every box has a at least 1 sticker and 1 candy item, and occasionally they include coupons to services I have never heard of.

Trying it out this month. Was $17.50 after the 10% discount. Just have to remember to cancel after I get it though all their subs are recurring.

Got my first crate in today. It's a pretty nice pick me up in the middle of the day. Kind of exciting like getting a random present from yourself lol.

Was kind of scared when I first got it because I could hear stuff sliding around in the box and it sounded like something might have broken :P.

Quite a few things crammed in there :). This month was a space theme since they apparently launched a loot crate into space :P.

Probably the coolest thing in the package was the Pop Heroes Super Man figurine.

They are also going to start giving out these pins every month which will make for an interesting members exclusive item alongside their mini magazine.

Finally I found the Mine Craft Calendar to be pretty neat could actually use this :).

Star Wars Phrase book is also pretty neat although I will probably never read through it. Browsed through it and it seems like a nice little book illustrations are pretty cool and the book has some good humor.

Only items I didn't really care for are the stickers and Star Wars game cards. The cards are pretty cool since you get 4-8 little paper models per package which is pretty neat. However I don't really play the game and don't have any shelf room for them plus I feel like it would be pretty easy to damage them once they are put together.

Overall not a bad package for $17.50 definitely brightened my day. I'm considering maybe getting the 6 month plan since the %10 off coupon(shadow) still works. That would bring it down to 15.90 a month.

Edit:
On another note canceling your subscription with them is a little weird. There is no option to cancel your subscription instead you have to manually request it by email :P. This worried me a bit since it feels like a ploy to drag out cancellations and make them more difficult. However they responded to my request within a day and were very polite about it :).
