I don't think this has been posted yet but the Vita edition has both games for $40; however X-2 is a download code.
Not sure which version to get. The console version will actually be in high definition and the first run is a special edition... On the other hand, the Vita version is portable and JRPGs are better suited for portables anyway.
Final Fantasy X HD + FFX 2 International
Re: Final Fantasy X HD + FFX 2 International
The new OST is incredibly hit or miss.
Apparently there's no option to change it either. Yet previous remake/ports like FFIV (PSP) had this option and more.
WHY!!!

The remix gives me a real Black Mages vibe, and that's ok with me.

No idea why you can't switch between them, but honestly, given the samples you provided, I think that they both have their merits, but that I like the newer one a little more. That said, fans of the old shouldn't be left out in the cold like that. Bummer.
I can't wait to get my hands on these games.

Not really seeing how this is a hard choice

And they're messing with the soundtrack of the one with the better OST and leaving the other one alone. WTF!?

Oh, really? What's in the first print? I assume it's different from the Collectors Edition?Opa Opa wrote:The console version will actually be in high definition and the first run is a special edition...

What does the special edition mean/have? Maybe I'll change my order from the Vita version to the PS3 version.Gamerforlife wrote:So console version has special edition and HD and Vita version has.....Opa Opa wrote:I don't think this has been posted yet but the Vita edition has both games for $40; however X-2 is a download code.

Far as I can tell, it has an art book (and a box that the game and book both fit into).Reprise wrote: What does the special edition mean/have? Maybe I'll change my order from the Vita version to the PS3 version.
