Yeah, I highly doubt the Wii version of Dead Rising will be nearly as good. If you have a good PC and a PS3 then I guess there wouldn't be too much of a reason to get a 360. They are dirt cheap now though.

i would say that its more the fact that all of the games play best on the 360(aside from pc titles of course), the wii has a very limited selection and so does the ps3, the xbox is pretty cheap, and the shooters are great, the banjo kazooie i have heard is really good, as well as viva pinata, unfortunately, you dislike rpgs, because the 360 has the best selection, and as far as dead rising, i would bet money the wii version is no good, simply because developers havent got the controls right yet
thats just what i think, i own all three, and have to say i get the most use out of my 360, but i kinda just agree classic systems all the way

The new Jasper chipset is out on the 360 making it much more cooler while running and more reliable. As far as games go Mass Effect is a adventure unlike anything else, and Gears 2 makes Gear 1 look like a tech demo and Fallout 3 looks and runs much better on 360 than PS3. Ace Combat is fucking awesome, DOA4 is one of the best 3D fighters IMO, Ninja Gaiden 2 is very good and Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon and Infinite Undiscovery are great JRPGs. As far as shmups go Ikaruga, Rez HD and Castle Shikigami are now on XBLA with more on the way. Having both systems I find multiplatform games tend to run and look better on 360. I can't stress how awesome Gears 2 is though. I'm not a big shooter fan by any means, but Gears 2 is doing things I thought were impossible on 360. The 360 is worth every penny just for this game and major evolution for this genre. M$ has upset my in one respect though and thats hardware unreliablity. From the 360 itself to the steering wheel, poor control pad and the original Xbox problems M$ hasn't learned there lesson and it sucks.

there ya go.Ok, I just made a Japanese XBL account and downloaded the Raiden Fighters Aces demo. I wished I hadn't done it, because now it's even more painful knowing this hasn't been confirmed for a US release yet. I really hope someone decides to publish it here.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

Well, really the falcon chip sets... and pretty much everything with an hdmi port is a safe bet if hardware is your issue. Though yeah, the d-pad sucks arse.corn619 wrote:The new Jasper chipset is out on the 360 making it much more cooler while running and more reliable. Gears of War is such generic, uninspired, ugly crap.
imo.

G4 is calling it the Jasper as seen in this article. http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/index. ... 359#691359 As for Gears 2 being uninspired crap I had a lot of fun with it, the combat is very different and innovative than most shooters. Yeah, I'm sure the combat style has been done before but this game refines it to near perfection IMO. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Thank god theres more than one genre of game.AwesomeMonstar wrote:Well, really the falcon chip sets... and pretty much everything with an hdmi port is a safe bet if hardware is your issue. Re: Can you convince me to buy a Xbox 360?
Okay, so you've made some mistakes. I just want to get the correct information out there for the benefit of everybody.AwesomeMonstar wrote:there ya go.Ok, I just made a Japanese XBL account and downloaded the Raiden Fighters Aces demo. Changing the internal country settings is different from creating a JP account.
Also, Raiden Fighters Aces is not Raiden IV.
The worst mistake is assuming a demo and the retail version of a game are the same thing. Yes, you can play a JP demo on a US console, but the actual game (and every other awesome shooter) can only be played on a JP console unless they are eventually localized.
Hope this helps!

DFo what you want though. We were just shouting out opinions. It's got decent games and all that, just not enough for some people.
Other people like it a lot. Maybe you would!! : )
