What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'm not familiar with the trim levels. Is the S2 the only trim level that allows you to lower the seat or is this available with all trim levels?

Either way, thanks for the input.

Your welcome, but sorry, as I'm not sure if the S2 is the only model that has that feature or not. It's a limited model (it's still a Focus though after all) that has special wheels, spoiler, exhaust, and a few other bells and whistles like the tires cost a lot more to replace :(

But it's a great car. And I LOVE the fact that the windows and moon roof are manually controlled. I prefer windows without electronic motors, always will. I also hope that push button transmission will make a come back, but I'm not holding my breath.

Smile, I think: I've been sent the task to make $300,000usd in revenue with an ad budget of $15,000usd.

If you've worked in sales and marketing that might not shock you, but I certainly didn't expect that high of an roi. I have a year to meet or exceed that goal, but it's safe to say I'm already feeling the pressure.

 Apparently, the little brother of this guy I went to school with was just charged with numerous charges including breaking and entering.

How bad is it?

Smile: Found out that I might be able to move to Scotland in a couple of years. Really excited for multiple reasons but it would be very strange at first.

Smile: Taking a vacation from work, always fun

Frown: High School bullshit

Smile: Been enjoying Gauntlet Legends recently, but haven't played for a few days.

Ticked: Samsung's USB drivers completely screwed up my Windows 8.1 installation so now I'm back on 7...

Welp I just just got dark souls working with windows 8.1

But since Microsoft is such a cluster fuck when it comes to account information I activated it on my friends live account and not mine. Long story short I set up his account with my email and when I got a new xbox I took over my brothers account the emails that wad set up with had been compromised so I set it to my email also. So basically I have two accounts with my email and can only access one because when you try to change anything account wise they don't tell you what account you're accessing.

Why couldn't they have just let me know that the email was in use on an account already? I mean it's not like I don't have five different email addresses that are all burners.

Oh well I look forward to waiting on hold for an hour tomorrow.

Here's the article
"On January 14, deputies arrested 24-year-old Billy Jack Quidley of Buxton, North Carolina. Quidley is charged with three counts of Felony Probation Violation; Misdemeanor Larceny; Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Property; Felony Breaking and Entering; Felony Larceny; and Felony Possession of Stolen Property.

Quidley was committed to the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of $92,000 bond."

Six felonies and two misdemeanors? It's not like he'll do life, but the guy will definitely serve time.

Frown: First thing I read in my email inbox this morning had the subject "You were right considering Grandma owning a dog :(" and no message in the body. Way to leave me hanging, Sis.

This could have been avoided if she used Gmail. It reminds me every time I forget to send an attachment.

Plus whatever trouble he was in that he was on probation for.

Not usually.

My parents haven't answered their phone, nor have my Aunt and Uncle, cousins or Sister.

Calling my Grandma doesn't sound like a good idea in my mind. If the dog was taken away, she'll be heart broken and there is no need to twist the knife by asking "How's Smokie?".

My family wanting to make Grandmother happy and get her a companion has clouded their judgement. This is the worst "I told you so" in recent memory. Yes dogs are cute and great company, but they aren't toys. Frustrating.

On a positive note, I'm taking a half day to "cool off" a bit. As I told Noise, I'm overwhelmed and need to do nothing. Maybe a smoke and a brewski or two, but sometimes you need to just sit and think. Take a step back and put things into perspective. Reorganize and rejuvenate. And other things you would read about in Don't Sweat the Small Stuff.
