Well that's good news and bad news. The good news is the host restarted the server. The bad news is they're still getting DDOS'd.

You have to be a special kind of douchebag to DDOS something like a private server of an old online game. Hopefully they'll identify the problem and block it soon and everything will be back to normal. This is unfortunately not the first time this has happened but it's been a while. It may be someone upset that they didn't have their Christmas event this year due to the Halloween one running late.

Schtserv appears to be up as I'm posting with a decent amount of people on so that means it may have been up for a while. I'm not going to play right now but just letting everyone know if they want to try later.

I finally got my Wii setup for PSO. I'm going to try to connect to any of the working servers tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. I know it's late in the TR, but if anyone wants to start from the beginning with me, let me know. I can play evenings, US eastern time after 19:00.

I've played most of episode I before on the PC back in 2003-2004 I believe. Great game. Wish I would have owned a DC back when SegaNet was active for this game.

You can set up the Wii to connect online via the Gamecube port???
