Unless their unable to run at a lower resolution like 1080i or 480p I don't see a problem. When I had a CRT it played all my nexgen games fine its resolution rage was 480p to 1080i. While they don't compare to newer LCDs and Plasmas, the picture was good. In fact my older systems like PS2, Dreamcast and Saturn looked much better.

All games will work on a CRT (I have both and run them on a Sony 32" CRT), but you will have to check if they will still be playable - I tried to play a demo of Timeshift on the PS3, but couldn't read any of the text as it was too small to show up legibly without an HD resolution.

They should work fine on a CRT. If it is an HD CRT you will be able to use anything between 720p and 1080p depending on the TV. If it is an SD CRT tv and you have to connect using composite video then you may have issues with some text and a soft image. This is just what old TV's looked like and new games look very soft on them.

one thing is , text on hd games is extremely difficult and hard to read.

I enjoy playing 360 on crt and its wonderful, but text in games is very hard to read
