Star Ocean and Ys V are great games. I have them both CIB (Super Famicom). Also, check out Tales of Phantasia and Ys IV.
I've never played a legit version of Star Fox 2. I can't seem to find it anywhere!

Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
probably why this all took like 6 months in total haha and about $450 later. That may sound crazy but it actually works out to be like $24 per cart. Considering that most repros cost about $60 unless you supply your own cart (star ocean and Star Fox 2 are like $100+, apparently very complicated to make) it ends up being a great deal.BoneSnapDeez wrote:wow someone was busy reproducing.

Ah, thats what i figured, i have a wishlist on there, looking to get Tales of Phantasia, Treasure of the Rudras, Terranigma, and Secret of Mana 2.ninjainspandex wrote:Gamereproductions.com
I like to stick to official games, not a fan of fan-made remixes/remodels/whatever, unless its too fix some bugs or translations.
What would you say is the best Non-Rpg game repro out there?

I've dabbled a little in repros, mostly Genesis stuff, but I have a translated Front Mission: Gun Hazard one.

My favorite non-rpg repro is probably King of Demons, imagine if Castlevania and Demons Crest had a baby it would be this game, and instead of a whip you get a handgun and demon forms you can change into.Hazerd wrote:Ah, thats what i figured, i have a wishlist on there, looking to get Tales of Phantasia, Treasure of the Rudras, Terranigma, and Secret of Mana 2.ninjainspandex wrote:Gamereproductions.com

Magical Pop'n and Do-Re-Mi Fantasy are also very good platformers.
My second favorite repro is Gunmans proof, this is like Legend of Zelda and Earthbound had a baby, set in the wild west this is a great Zelda clone and pretty funny too.
Don't knock fan made games there are a bunch of awesome ones. Super Mario Return to Dinosaur Island is one of the best SMW hacks out there and plays as though Nintendo actually made it.
Super Metroid Zero mission is a romhack of Super Metroid, its the NES metroid redone in SNES graphics.

So they arent like Super Hard? i know there is romhacks out there to make these games super hard, and im not into that.ninjainspandex wrote:

I guess if your a speed runner and can beat the original Super Metroid in 30 min, then fine go wild play till your fingers bleed, but not a fan of making a gamer harder than it has to be.
