You don't have to include asterisks.
It's okay.

I feel obligated to state that it took me two tries to get the 100 rupees. The key was to keep nailing the birds to respawn the pots. The timing is pretty easy, especially if you're using the 3D.

I'm only 30 minutes in but I can already tell this is going to be a damn fine game. Looks like my weekend schedule just got changed.
Older. Not wiser.
Re: Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
My game is still on hold, waiting for me to retrieve the master sword. I am new to the 3DS, so I started playing a bunch of other games. I'm going to start playing it again this weekend. I'm having a lot of fun with NSMB2, though.
Re: Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
So I got the master sword and I Got into the two worlds and I did a lot of other stuff but I still don't know where I can go to get the power up to lift up the big rocks? And where about can I use the sand shovel in the game? I went everywhere

The upgraded power glove is in one of the dungeons, I'm not going to say which. The Sand Rod also has a particular dungeon associated with it and the fact that it's the Sand Rod should be hint enough where it should be used.
Keep in mind you have to make use of both Hyrule and Lorule now and the cracks will allow you access to places you can't get to by just staying in one or the other.

Anyway, I finally got lucky with the baseball game. I've beaten the game and posted about in the games beaten thread. Having played the game in its entirety, I'm a bit less impressed by it. It never really climaxed for me. The dungeons were too easy, except for the ice dungeon (which I found more annoying than hard) and the final boss fight was fun, but not as epic as the final battles in Ocarina (I never was that impressed by Ocarina as a whole, but its final act I thought was epic)
It's still a good game though, but I kept waiting for memorable moments that never came. I've been running through it again on Hero Mode, but I don't know if I'll continue as the game feels rather boring on a second playthrough as I'm just going through all the same motions again. Not much in the way of replay value here. Enemies hit a lot harder, but that just makes Hero Mode feels cheaper rather than genuinely more challenging. I would have enjoyed seeing some reworked puzzles for the dungeons on Hero Mode and some new boss attacks maybe, but whatever. It's a solid Zelda game, but every Zelda game I've played since Link to the Past just seems to be missing that special something to make me love it. Link Between Worlds feels like the echoes of a better game (Link to the Past)
