That is so cool and so impractical at the same time.

Fired up the old Gamecube version. Beat Very Hard on my RAmarl. Got her to lvl 70 in Ultimate and beat the Ice Dragon. I love the reskinning of the mobs in Ultimate difficulty.

Finished the final quest this evening (not counting the download quests - which I can't access).

Leveled up to level 30. My MAG is level 52-53 or so.

I have a full stock of items, tons of money, and there's nothing useful for sale at the shops.

Guess the next thing to do is to fight the final boss!

Is the PC server down? AlienJesus, are you still up for some Euro-timezone playing during the weekend?

I'd love to, but the PC server has been down for a week now. Concerned that it's never gonna go back up at this point.

It will, the admins are not always the most reliable bunch though.

EDIT:

The main admin, Crono, has finally revealed what is going on. There was a DDOS attack so their host shut down the server and refuses to restore it until Crono solves the problem, though he can't solve the problem unless the server is up so he can see what's going on. He's in a back-and-forth with them trying to get things resolved.

I still haven't finished single-player. I really don't like how the game restarts you in the hunter's guild regardless of where you save. That means I have to traverse the final dungeon, defeat the final boss (which may take more than one attempt), and (hopefully) watch the game's ending all in one go. I'm guessing that will take in excess of three hours - I don't have that kind of time until maybe Monday evening.
