My first attempt at creating sprites

Post by brainerdrainer »

Lately I've been messing around with pixels. This is my first time at it. Just did a few test characters. I'll have to try some more in the future.

just made this simple character. For some reason I enjoy the crude old simple characters. Very basic

They look pretty good, I'd say. Are you using some special sprite-art program for creating these?

My cousin was making a simple test video game and I asked him what he uses to make pixel art and he suggested I try http://piq.codeus.net/ So that's what I've been using. Pretty simply stuff, nothing too fancy.
